About us
The Latvia's Bulgarian Cultural Society “Cyril and Methodius” brings together Bulgarians and people of other nationalities living in Latvia who care about the ties between Bulgaria and Latvia.
We present Bulgarian culture in Latvia through exhibitions, performances, concerts, recitals, literary evenings, discussions and other events.
We organise courses and workshops and introduce Bulgarian traditions, crafts and cuisine.
We present the preserved traditions of Bulgarians in Latvia, and Latvian culture in Bulgaria.
We keep a library of Bulgarian, Latvian and foreign literature, albums, dictionaries, guidebooks and other materials.
Our rich collection of Bulgarian folk costumes, rare books and artefacts allows us to stage exhibitions and take part in events organised by others.
We work together with other societies, associations, partners and cultural institutions.
